In my art practice I have chosen to work within the two major disciplines of drawing and printmaking. Drawing has always excited me as it lends itself to the immediate capture of a thought or idea, mark or image without the need of words. Printmaking is my playground for colour and texture. I use various techniques, including etching, collograph, card relief, monotypes, woodcuts and linocuts. The majority of this work is produced on my Little John etching press.
